It's here! The official lineup of activities for the OHHS Class of 1987's 30th High School Reunion! (YES 30th!) :-)
EVENT DATES: July 28-30, 2017
July 28 FRIDAY NIGHT AT FLYERS!
Starting at 6:00pm Friday night July 28th we kick everything off at Flyers Restaurant and Brewery where our classmate Jason Tritt, generously sets aside a section of Flyers restaurant and brewery for us for the night! Flyers will be celebrating just over 11 years of great beer, great food and great times in Oak Harbor still racking up awards all over the country for their hand-crafted beers! The night will feature fun 80's tunes, heavy hors d'oeurves and drink specials. In addition, there will be plenty of space to mix, mingle and catch up! The event is not limited to classmates, friends and spouses are welcome but, remember it's a bar, you must be 21+ to attend. Don't miss it!
July 29 SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER/DANCE PARTY!
Next we have our Saturday night semi-formal dinner and dance party in the Best Western Plus Whidbey ball room at 33175 SR20 in Oak Harbor! Get a little dressed up and continue re-connecting with your friends - old and new- in the re-modeled Best Western Plus Hotel. Doors will open at 6:00pm for light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails (no host bar) followed by a buffet dinner featuring Jason's newest Italian restaurant in Oak Harbor, RUSTICA, beginning at 7:30pm! A dessert buffet will be available after dinner while we enjoy time to remember the past, celebrate the present and honor those who've passed on before us. Then dance the night away to music from the 80's and beyond with DJ and host David Barber (Another OHHS grad!) Who knows....you might just win a bitchin' cool prize if you still have that 80's trivia knowledge stashed away in your brain somewhere! This is the time to loosen the ties, let down our hair and prove that we've only improved with age!
July 30 SUNDAY CLASS and FAMILY PICNIC!
The final event of the weekend, is a fantastic class and family picnic at the Rocky Point Recreation Area! We figured this was a perfect way to wind down and have a final afternoon of fun with your classmates at this wonderful park located on a bluff with stairs leading to the beach! We have the Can-do-Inn log cabin with several large BBQ's, restrooms, beach access, Horseshoe Pits, Picnic Tables, a Volleyball Area and a Playground. There will be burgers, dogs and plenty of sides, desserts and beverages to choose from so come out and play one last time before we all head back to reality! Starts at 11am so sleep in after the Saturday night fun!
OPTIONAL EVENTS:
Check back for optional events we are planning for those of you who would like to participate! These events will be individually coordinated by the event chairs and you will work with them to RSVP and provide payment. (The Optional Events will not be included in the price of the weekend event package unless of course the event is free.)

BEST WESTERN PLUS HOTEL RESERVATIONS accepted until JUNE 23, 2017. (After that date, it's space available at prevailing rates)
Your reunion committee has worked hard to secure the best possible rates at this time of the year and for our event. Please consider booking your stay at this hotel! We have a room block secured (18 Queen and 7 King) for the event on Friday July 28 and Saturday July 29. As these fill, we will be given an additional block of rooms as space permits. We suggest you book early!
Rates are $134.99 per night plus tax for a Standard Double Queen room. $129.99 per night plus tax for a Standard Single King room. Check in is 3:00pm check out is 11am. You will be billed for one night unless you cancel 1 day prior to arrival!
