After a three year run in the Army I moved back to Washington to apply for police jobs. I ended up taking a job with the Island County Sheriff's Office which landed me back here in Oak Harbor. I have worked for the department for sixteen years and am currently the Department's Taser instructor, Defensive Tactics instructor and Public information officer (press conferences, TV interviews and such). For the last five years, I have been assigned as a Detective specializing in Computer Forensics and Network Hacking. Three years ago I earned my commercial pilots license and fly helicopters on the side. I'm divorced (another statistic of the job I'm afraid) and have a great seventeen year old daughter that lives with her mom.
I hope to see everyone in August.
