After college, I went to graduate school and received my PhD in Genetics and Biochemistry at the University of California, Irvine. After doing some post-doctoral work I took an Assistant Professor position at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. I was married to my husband Shyam in 2006. We are currently living in St. Louis where Shyam is finishing his residency in Radiation Oncology. I have a 10 month old son, Deven, and am spending some time away from teaching and research to be home with him. I wish I could be there to see you all this weekend but maybe I can make it to our 25th.
