Hi y'all! Well life has been anything but boring for me the last 20 years. After Graduation my family moved to Bermuda, where I worked as an alarm room communications operator at night and was a beach bum during the day. In 1994 found out through prenatal testing that I had Leukemia. I moved to Iowa to be with my husband and to undergo a bone marrow transplant. My daughter was 8 month old when I had the transplant. My marriage ended shortly after my treatments started because my husband couldn't handle the situation. However, I am happy to say that I am Cancer free, my beautiful daughter will be 17 in October, I still going to school full-time working towards my Bachelor's in Human services, I want to be a counselor working with children of divorce and other family issues. I am also self-employed providing respite and SCL services to adults and children with mental disabilities. New exciting news is that my daughter that I put up for adoption when I was 15 has contacted me and we have met and it is like we were never apart. With this I found out I'm a grandmother of a 4 yr old boy Breaden and a 6 yr of girl Lexi and will have a new little boy in the family in Aug We are very excited. Like I said never a dull moment
