Happy Cinco de Mayo! Hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Just a note that the Deception Pass boat ride will no longer be on the agenda as one of the weekend events. We apologize for any inconvenience, but there are may other fun things to do and we hope you will take advantage of all we and Oak Harbor and the surrounding areas have to offer while you're here! See you in July, we're working hard to make this a very fun time for you all.

Remember back in 1987, watching Friday Night Videos and MTV?! Now we listen to Sirius/XM and hear Martha, Nina, Mark and Alan hosting the 80's countdowns...Where did the time go? We also have had some sadness recently with the deaths of some of our beloved musical talent...But, when did we become "that old guy" or "a cougar" to those kids who look much younger than we ever did in high school? We are twenty five years older than we were the first time we saw Ferris Bueller’s Day Off or the last time we watched LA Law. And now, is there really a remake of Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the works? What about that crazy preview of the new 21 Jump Street movie? I mean, REALLY? Johnny Depp should have had a say in that!
So now what????
We think it’s time for a BIG party! Let’s celebrate the passing of twenty five years!! Just don't tell anyone you invented Post-It's...! After all, we’ve left our big bangs, Aqua Net & acid wash jeans behind us and experienced a lot more of real life! We’ve all had successes & failures, beginnings & endings, highs & lows.These varied experiences have made each one of us much more interesting as people than we were twenty five years ago. So let’s do it; let’s get together. Let’s remind ourselves again of those carefree days we didn’t fully appreciate. But more importantly, let’s share the people we’ve become. Let’s rekindle friendships while finding commonalities we share with people we never really knew in high school and welcome those who didn't attend the last reunion or a reunion at all! July 20-22, 2012 is the time to make it happen. Your reunion committee is working hard to make this an event to remember! Don't Miss it!!
